EOI – Junior Beach Coach
The Cronulla SLSC Crays JAG Committee are seeking expressions of interest for a Beach Coach to take over all aspects of coaching our nippers, key focus on developing and honing the core skills across all beach events.

Join Bate Bays oldest Surf Club (one of the oldest in the world) with the largest Nipper community of over 600 kids, across all age groups from U6s to U14s.
The Beach Coach will work closely with both the Nippers Head Coach, Nippers Surf Sport Coordinator and the Crays JAG Committee to develop the training program for each season, prepare nippers to compete at carnivals and ultimately for team selections at Sydney Branch and NSW State Age Championships.
Skills/Experience required
- Working with children check (mandatory)
- SLS Coaching module/s (mandatory)
- SLS Age Manager modules (desirable)
- Age Manager experience (desirable)
- Prior Nippers coaching experience (desirable)
Time commitment required throughout the season
- Pre-season training sessions
- Friday ~4km Club run
- Sylvania Athletics Track – run fitness training (1-2 per week)
- Twice weekly beach training sessions – 1 hour each @ Cronulla Beach
- Flags
- Sprint / relay handovers
- Sunday Nippers @ Cronulla Beach
- Adhoc if available
- Club Championship Days (x3)
- Carnivals
- Cronulla Carnival
- Bate Bay 4-Way
- Sydney Branch
- NSW State Age Championships
